chopsticks ready~~!!

In japanese, "bento" represents lunch box. "bento" of the school kids (esp in primary school) always prepared by their mother. don't think that it is just a lunch. well, it's far more than that... i wonder why the housewives in japan put so much effort in making "bento".

though most of them are full-time housewives and they usually put family in the first place; still, i think making these "bento" is very time-consuming and it requires patience.

you can see that "bento"s show below have individual themes, most of them are cartoon characters.

WHY cartoon characters??
- "bento" are mainly for children
- cartoon characters attract them
- very colorful
- they are more willing to eat vegetables which they normally refuse to eat




but to me, the "bento"s are too pretty that you may not wanna eat and destroy them....=(
it's a pity to do that..don't you think so??
