This photo series of " Dreams" was taken by Eugenio Recuenco for Zink Magazine in 2007.
Eugenio Recuenco was regarded as one of the most creative Spanish fashion photographer. His style was named as "Cinematographic" or " Pictorial" by many editors and creative department from agencies.
As you can see that, his photos were kinda dramatic and i would say "surrealistic". of course, this theme is "Dreams" and it seems like more unreasonable, but his other work has this style too.
What do you think of "Dreams"?
Well, though it usually come up with surrealism. I think there're 2 sides.
1) the fantasy side (strange but positive/ neutral)
2) the horrible side (very mysterious and negative)
HOWEVER, the colors in both sides are dusty and it is not commonly seen in daily lives. That's why even some of the scenes are possibly happen in real life, you can still simply define them "something is going wrong/not usual things" in the first place.
By the way, I'm kinda in love with his style. How about you?
